What should I wear to my appointment?
Please wear loose comfortable clothing. Your practitioner will ask you to remove clothing in the areas they need to work on.
How many massage appointments will I need?
This will vary depending on the nature of your complaint, however, an average of 3-6 appointments will resolve most complaints. Your practitioner may recommend a maintenance massage every several weeks depending on your lifestyle.
How long Should I Leave Between Sessions?
We recommended leaving one week between sessions if you are working on the same area; this allows the body time to heal before the next session. Many people, especially athletes, get multiple sessions every week. However, these sessions will alternate. As an example, in one session, our therapist may focus on the back, and a couple of days later, they may get another however this time focusing on the legs.
Is there anything I should do after my massage appointment?
The most important thing to do is drink plenty of water. You may also want to stretch the muscles that were worked on during your appointment.
