Wellbeing in the Community and Workplace
Back pain and musculoskeletal issues continue to be a problem in the workplace. An increasing number of companies are recognising that the importance of health and wellbeing schemes play an important part of helping to reduce absenteeism. The introduction of the Better health at work award has encouraged more business owners to look more closely at the health needs of their employees. Back pain usually appears in the list of the top three concerns.
We aim to support our local community and business’s by educating on the importance of prevention of illness or injury as opposed to rehabilitation at a later date.

'We had Durham Family Chiropractic come into our offices as part of our health and wellbeing plan for staff members. Our staff who attended all really appreciated the advice that was given to them on the day and some of them have even gone for further treatments as a result! The staff were friendly, helpful and professional throughout and we would not hesitate to work with them again. Amazingly accommodating and a fantastic locally run business! Keep up the great work.'VIRGIN MEDIA
