A great opportunity has arisen for an associate Chiropractor to join our busy award winning multidisciplinary practice. Durham Family Chiropractic is situated in the picturesque old English University city of Durham in the north east of England. Durham Family Chiropractic is a vibrant practice, established for over 25 years and proud to hold an excellent reputation amongst our local community and businesses. The practice currently holds the PPQM award from the Royal College of Chiropractors.
Our large practice consists of four treatment rooms and a spacious waiting area. The clinic has a continual stream of new patients, averaging 20 per week, enabling you to quickly build a busy schedule. Many of our patients have been with us for over 20 years.
Our team consists of four chiropractors, a sports, remedial massage and lymphatic drainage therapist, a traditional Chinese medicine Acupuncturist and a team of three front desk chiropractic assistants.
The practice takess an evidence-based approach to care while still respecting patient preference. We utilise Care Response to gather objective outcome data allowing us to track progress and patient satisfaction therefore maximising patient potential. We are a paperless clinic utilising iPads for note taking with the Jane clinic diary and booking system. The practice has state of the art patient education technology which can be delivered using the iPads via the 50 inch TV’s in each room. There is also access to the Rehab my Patient service.
The services we currently provide are chiropractic, traditional Chinese acupuncture, taping, sports and remedial massage, lymphatic drainage and shockwave therapy. We will also be offering in-house diagnostic ultrasound in early 2021. The techniques practiced by our chiropractors are Diversified, McTimoney, Advanced BioStructural Correction (ABC), soft tissue and fascial work and MSK exercise rehabilitation.
We are looking to replace one of our practitioners who has decided to work closer to home, therefore we now have approximately 25-30 hours per week available. The position would suit an experienced chiropractor or an exciting new graduate with the right skills and attitude. We are looking for a dedicated, professional team player with excellent communication skills who is able to learn, re-learn and adapt.
The principle chiropractor and clinic owner is a registered PRTS tutor and a fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation and Exercise faculty and can take you through the process of completing the requirements for full membership of the BCA (if required). Your practice style will be respected providing it aligns with the clinic mission and vision.
Durham City and the surrounding areas are a great place to live and work, blending city life with picturesque countryside. There is great leisure and entertainment in the city, with Newcastle and Northumberland being a stone’s throw away. Located on the East Coast mainline, Durham boasts excellent connections by rail. Fifteen minutes from Newcastle, forty five minutes to York and only two hours and fifty minutes from Central London.
