What is a Spine3D Scan?
Spine3D is a non-invasive assessment that uses LiDAR technology to capture a three-dimensional image of your body while you stand naturally. Spine 3D also assesses foot mechanics, pressure, and balance.
Unlike an X-ray, the scan does not use ionising radiation. Instead, it maps the surface of your back and posture to help your chiropractor identify visible imbalances and changes in spinal shape.

What happens during the scan?
Your chiropractor will explain the process before the scan begins and make sure you are comfortable.
You will usually be asked to stand in a relaxed, natural position while the scanner captures your posture. For the scan to be accurate, your back needs to be visible, and your chiropractor will give you clear guidance about suitable clothing, privacy and dignity before your appointment.
